Small businesses benefit from having a website, whether they use it to sell products or simply advertise their business. Your website may be as simple as 3 pages-
- Home- This is the page that pops up when your site opens. It says who you are and what you do.
- About us-This page features products or services that make your business special.
- Contact- This page has your phone number, fax, email address and a contact form.
Website Maintenance Costs
You have your business to run. You don't have time to learn how to make a website. I can make your website and keep it up to date. You will tell me when you want to make a change and I will take care of it for you. As we plan your site I will be able to see if your site will need weekly or monthly updating.
After your website is launched I will make changes/additions for 30 days. During that time we will work together to decide which of these Maintenance Options work for your business:
1. You pay a monthly maintenance fixed amount and I make updates/additions to your site as we outline in a Maintenance Agreement.
OR
2. You call me when you need something changed and pay me by the hour.
OR
3. You hire me to teach you how to update your site by yourself.
If you decide you would like to maintain the site yourself I will turn over all passwords and files to you and there won't be a maintenance charge. Instruction lessons will be billed separately by the hour. Or you could decide to pay for a year of website maintenance and see how it goes. Experience has taught me that a site needs to be updated monthly (minimum) to keep it fresh.
